Mission Viejo

The lake offers boating, swimming, and fishing, as well as summer concerts, and a spectacular fireworks show on the 4th of July. It’s a private lake available to all residence of Mission Viejo.

Not widely known, Mission Viejo received recognition from the National Arbor Day Foundation for its tree lined streets. The beauty of these trees provides a luscious, colorful, shady drive through its neighborhoods with a view of rolling hills in the distance.

Mission Viejo has every type of shopping imaginable, from the upscale Shops at Mission Viejo to quaint strip malls abundantly located throughout the city. Its home to award winning schools and one of the key benefits that residents enjoy is its low tax rate in the majority of its neighborhoods.

Rancho Santa Margarita

Rancho Santa Margarita (RSM) is situated next to Mission Viejo in the heart of the Saddleback Valley and its where Ron calls home along with approximately 47,000 residents. This small, quiet town is named the 5th safest city in America and offers a serene environment surrounded by golf courses in Tijeras Creek, Dove Canyon and Coto de Caza, 13 parks, 9 trails, the Thomas Reilly Wilderness Park, and O’Neill Regional Park. It’s a paradise for hikers, bikers, and horseback riders with well over 23 miles of trails to explore and enjoy.

To further attract homeowners and future home owners alike, Rancho Santa Margarita also has a lake and Beach Club with stunning views of Saddleback Mountain in the backdrop. The picturesque view instills a feeling of peacefulness each morning and sets the right stage for a day of work or play ahead.

Considered a mid-size city, Rancho Santa Margarita has eleven urban shopping centers. Some of the well-liked stores include: Trader Joe’s and Target, as well as some phenomenal independent restaurants, such as Hannah’s, Tutto Fresco, The Blind Pig, and Carmelita’s, to name a few. Rancho Santa Margarita also has its very own Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas where people can enjoy a completely different movie going experience.

Even though the city is considered mid-sized, Rancho Santa Margarita has that small town feel with a community center offering youth, senior, and recreational activities. There is also an excellent summer concert series and a fantastic 4th of July event on the lake.
